Who we are

Mother and Children Development Aid (MacDA) is a Woman Led National Humanitarian and Development Organization, legally registered and mandated to operate in the Republic of South Sudan by the Ministry of Justice and South Sudan Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (SSRRC) under South
Sudan NGO Act 2003.

We work with and in communities affected by natural and man-made disasters in South Sudan providing lifesaving assistance to Internally Displaced Persons, Returnees and Vulnerable host communities. In all our programs, we prioritize safety, access, dignity, and Inclusion to ensure we are considering the safety of Programme participants, that different groups can access and participate in Programme, and that their inherent dignity is respected in all interactions.
